Manoucher BARBAREE bread tart

It is that time of the year where there are constant parties and get-togethers and it is always great to have something delicious to bring or to treat your guests with. For a quick and sumptuous dessert, use our Manoucher BARBAREE bread topped with caramelized pears, goat cheese, and walnut.

Ingredients
Produce 
  • 2 medium Pears
Baking & Spices
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Salt
Nuts & Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts, raw
Bread
  • 1 Manoucher BARBAREE loaf
Dairy
  • 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 2 oz Goat cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. Set a medium skillet over medium heat. Add in the butter. When melted, add in the pears, brown sugar, cinnamon. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pears are tender and caramelized. Remove from the heat.
  2. Spread Fig Jam generously over Manoucher Barbaree bread, then,  add the caramelized pears, walnuts, and goat cheese.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is soft or melted and the crust is deep golden brown.
  4. Slice into squares and serve immediately.
